Theatre is one of the only truly collaborative art forms, and that is what the students learn from LVP, collaboration. This not only helps them to be successful in theatre, but also to be successful in working and dealing with people in everyday life. Little Village Playhouse also tries to bring contemporary theatre to the youth theatre scene, which until now has been saturated with the same handful of shows. Recent LVP shows include: Sunday in the Park With George, Bernarda Alba, The Frogs, First Lady Suite, A Little Night Music, and Metamorphoses. We have classes and workshops for students in Kindergarten through 12th grades.
