Briarcliff Manor, NY - The Briarcliff Manor Recreation Department has announced the 2012 Summercliff Players’ production of "Once on This Island".

Offered through a cooperative effort with the Briarcliff Friends of the Performing Arts and the Briarcliff Manor Community Coalition, this is the summer troupe’s sixth season.

With drama, music, art and dance, "Once on This Island" is a show with a catchy, contemporary, and Caribbean-flavored score by the Tony® Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

The show will be directed by Kathleen Donovan-Warren with Musical Direction by Nadia Rizzo and Technical Direction by James Britt. Mr. Britt and his talented crew are busy building ten foot puppets for this production.

Two public performances are scheduled for July 27th and 28th at 7:30 pm at Briarcliff High School (Dr. Francis G. Wills Auditorium), 444 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor NY 10510.  Tickets are $15.50 and are available at www.Showtix4U.com.
