Plant Sale At Beczak Environmental Education Center
Yonkers, NY - Get what you need for your garden and support local river education at Beczak’s Plant Sale.
Saturday, May 12, is the second annual Plant Sale at Beczak Environmental Education Center. This fundraiser in support of the non profit’s environmental stewardship mission offers locally grown vegetable and decorative plants, herbs, organic edibles, and apple trees. To encourage more people in downtown Yonkers to grow some of their own food, Beczak has distributed discount Plant Sale coupons to the communities of CLUSTER, Greyston Foundation Community Gardens Project, Groundwork Hudson Valley Programs, Nepperhan Community Center, and the Sharing Community.
“Beczak supports growing your own food in Yonkers,” says Cliff Schneider, Executive Director of Beczak Environmental Education Center.
Sponsored by Cornell’s Hardware in Eastchester, NY. Saturday, May 12, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Information at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
