10th Anniversary For Holistic Health Expo
Tarrytown, NY - This spring marks the 10th Anniversary of the Awaken Wellness Fair, the largest body-mind-spirit-green expo north of New York City.
The first fair, then known as “Goddess Day,” took place in the spring of 2002. Fair founder and director Paula Caracappa of White Plains held the event in her office and forty-two people attended.
“We've grown a lot since then,” says Caracappa, “but our mission remains the same: to make the world a better place by educating people in the very best and latest means to wellness of body, mind and spirit.”
Since its humble beginnings, the Awaken Wellness Fair has evolved into the area’s largest and best-attended health and wellness expo. In addition to a ballroom full of exciting vendors and exhibitors, the fair has grown to include two rooms of dynamic speakers on a compelling range of wellness topics. Intuitive readers and practitioners of various body/mind/spirit modalities are also available for entertainment throughout the day. The fair has become increasingly well-attended over the years and this year Caracappa expects the number of guests to near one thousand.
The Awaken Wellness Fair will take place at the Tarrytown Doubletree Hotel on Sunday, April 29, from 10 am to 5pm Admission is $10 in advance online only through April 25, then $15 at the door. Listings and information about all the exhibitors is at www.AwakenFair.com.
