Westchester Recall Plus® is comprised of three insurance policies that together protect small businesses:

1. Component Parts

Covers component parts used in the general manufacturing, electronic, medical device, automotive and aviation industries.

Basic: Base wording and 12 month retro date

Standard: Base wording, 12 month retro date and replacement costs

Enhanced: Base wording, 12 month retro date, replacement costs and consequential damages

2. Consumer Goods

Covers finished products in the areas of appliances, electronics/electrical, clothes, furniture, household, children’s products, outdoor goods and products, sports and exercise equipment and products.

Basic: Base wording, 12 month retro date and replacement costs

Standard: Base wording, 12 month retro date, replacement costs, business interruption, brand rehabilitation expense and extra expense

Enhanced: Base wording, 12 month retro date, replacement costs, business interruption, brand rehabilitation expense, extra expense and consequential damages

3. Consumable Products

Covers food & beverage.

Basic: Base wording, adverse publicity and replacement costs

Standard: Base wording, adverse publicity, replacement costs, loss of gross profit, rehabilitation expense, extra expense and extortion costs

Enhanced: Base wording, adverse publicity, replacement costs, business interruption, basic rehabilitation expense, extra expense, extortion costs and consequential damages

RECALL PLUS HIGHLIGHTS

  • Limits as low as $25,000
  • SIR as low as $2,500
  • $5,000 minimum SIR for a $1MM primary limit
  • No minimum premium

  • Small Business Application Form and supporting documents
    • Copy of recall and traceability program
    • Copy of quality control manual (including Standard Operating Procedures/Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • 5 year loss history
  • Sales of up to $25M
